Acron rents storages in Western Europe to ensure fertilizer sales
MOSCOW, Jun 21 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer Acron has signed long-term agreements to rent storage spaces in France and Belgium in order to ensure and raise sales in Western Europe, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
“The agreements provide for using tanks to store high-performance liquid fertilizer UAN – urea-ammonium nitrate – in the amount of up to 40,000 tonnes in Rouen (France) and 15,000 tonnes in Ghent (Belgium), starting from May 1, 2018,” Acron said.
“The lease of tanks will ensure timely delivery of UAN to buyers in Western Europe, bolster our positions and increase sales in this important market. According to our estimates, sales via both terminals will considerably exceed 300,000 tonnes already this year,” the company said quoting Acron Vice President Overseas Dmitry Khabrat.
